About Collectors Investments

Collectors Investments is a family owned business founded in 1970 by Nigel McLean (deceased 2017), who was joined by his sons Bruce in 1988 and Andrew in 2013. They believe in dealing with clients in a warm, honest and professional manner and have established themselves as one of the leaders in the numismatic field in South Africa.

They are one of the founding members (1983) of the South African Association of Numismatic Dealers (S.A.A.N.D), which ensures that its members act in a professional manner and abide by a strict code of conduct. Nigel was also a life member of the Natal Numismatic Association until his passing in 2017.

Their speciality is South African coins and banknotes, foreign coins and banknotes, war medals and militaria. They also trade in silver and gold items, jewellery, Krugerrands, collectables, vintage watches and antique and vintage cameras. They do estate evaluations and host evaluation days.
